with a trans jack under the trans as backup. This gives me space for a jack under the front crossmember. The car is on jackstands, and it's just not ideal (my back says "he's putting that mildly"). My biggest deterrent right now is lack of a garage. I'm using a relative's garage space for projects and, while there's plenty of space to work, it's not my house and I can't invest anything there. After next summer I hope to look for a new house with my ideal garage setup, and that includes a lift for certain.
